DIY – Mercury/VDO Smartcraft 3″ Round Analog Device Replacement Lens
GaugeSaver now has a solution to replace your cracked lens . Gauge Saver re-designed lens made with UV Stable Poly-Carbonate material. New lens is twice as thick as the original OEM lens and installation will allow to re-use exiting gasket. New Lens will fit into the case with the tabs and you can still use your OEM or aftermarket bezels.
DIY Installation instructions for Mercury SmartCraft Lens Replacement
*This lens will aslo fit several 85mm style round gauges, like VDO or Volvo Penta. If you are not sure if this lens will work for you, I would suggest removing the bezel of your gauge, and measuring it’s ID and OD, and comparing it with the measurements in the picture provided. This lens also has Tabs that hold it securely in a Mercury case, which may need to be removed for your application. It also may require silicone around the perimeter underneath the bezel to make it waterproof.*
