 ***** These devices suffer from a design flaw in which the lens can become dis-lodged or pushed in, which allows water to get inside the gauge. Restoration will be dependant on the severity of the water damage.  New LCD assemblies with backlight and New Lens with Button Contact Cleaning should mitigate this issue. If device cannot be repaired due to internal damage or failure, labor charge will still apply*****

Our Dometic /SeaStar/BRP Optimus Restoration Services are designed to provide professional repair services to your device.

Service options include:

  • $250 NEW LCD/Backlight Assembly Replacement AND Button Contact Cleaning
    • NEW LCD replaces faded or failed display and backlight
    • Includes lens polish and case re-sealed with stronger adhesive
    • Button Contact Cleaning also included
      • This IS NOT a guaranteed repair of button function
        • Cleaning of corroeded contacts, if buttons still not functional this indicates board failure which cannot be repaired
          • Labor charge still applies
  • $150 NEW Lens Replacement and Button Contact Cleaning
    • NEW Lens is 2x as thick as OEM and will be sealed with stronger adhesive
    • Button Contact Cleaning will remove existing internal corrosion with no guarantee all button function will be restored
      • If button cleaning does not resolve the issue this indicates internal board failure, labor charge will still apply
  • Also known as:  BRP or Evindrude device
